This conference will bring researchers and practitioners from all over the world together to explore applications of open and distance learning in widening educational access, bridging the digital divide, and advancing the social and economic development of communities and nations at large.

If you can’t join us in Calgary, you can still contribute to these important discussions about the future of open, distance and technology-enabled learning with a new rich virtual PCF10 experience. While attending virtually from anywhere in the world, you can do nearly everything you can in person: connecting with colleagues via the event app, attending live sessions or watching when they’re posted on-demand (content available exclusively to in-person and virtual delegates), and networking one-on-one with education technology leaders in the virtual exhibit hall.

The immersive virtual experience will include the following:

  • Twelve plenary sessions live-streamed including a real-time Q&A
  • Five parallel blocks for sub-theme paper presentations with a choice of two live-streamed sessions which include a real-time Q&A
  • Web-based event platform access, including on-demand session content within the four sub-themes
  • Virtual chat networking with delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, and speakers
  • Unlimited access to the virtual exhibition hall
  • Full papers and abstracts
  • Poster session and Marketplace digital submissions with opportunity to connect with speaker in virtual format

Cancellation policy and fees

In-person registration

  • Cancellation for in-person registration will be accepted by email only to info@pcf10.org
  • A $50 administrative fee will be deducted from cancellations received until 31 July 2022
  • A 50% cancellation fee will be charged between 1-25 August 2022
  • A 100% cancellation fee will be charged after 25 August 2022
  • All requested cancellations will be subject to review and approval by COL
  • Approved refunds will be processed through money transfer following the completion of the PCF10 conference

Virtual experience registration

  • Cancellation for the virtual experience registration will be accepted by email only to info@pcf10.org 
  • A $50 administrative fee will be deducted from cancellations received until 4 September 2022. 
  • A 100% cancellation fee will be charged after 5 September 2022
  • All requested cancellations will be subject to review and approval by COL
  • Approved refunds will be processed through money transfer following the completion of the PCF10 conference

Payment methods

Credit card payments are available with the secured e-commerce registration system: Visa and Mastercard in USD only.

Direct Bank Wire Transfer or Electronic Fund Transfer payments can be requested by selecting that method of payment during registration. A form will be forwarded to you via email once your registration is processed.

All bank fees for remittance are to be paid by the participant.

Receipt of remittance must be sent by email to pcf10@col.org for confirmation.

Your payment status will be changed from “pending” to “complete” upon clearance of your payment.
